Bail for Immigration Detainees
Independent charity providing legal advice and representation to people in detention.
Detention Action provides support and advice to people held in Harmondsworth and Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centres, near Heathrow Airport in London, and people held under immigration powers in London prisons.
UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group
Support for LGBTI+ people in detention. Helpline available Monday to Friday during office hours: 020 7922 7811
Freedom from Torture provide counselling, group therapy and ongoing support, provide expert medical assessments to support survivors’ asylum claims and use their expertise and evidence to protect and promote survivors' rights.
The Helen Bamber Foundation supports refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced extreme human cruelty, such as torture and human trafficking. They provide specialist care through psychological and physical therapy, housing and welfare support, legal protection and creative arts and skills programmes.
Medical Justice is a charity that offers medical help to those held in immigration detention in the UK.
Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit (ATLEU)
Support for people who have been trafficked. If you are supporting someone that you believe may have been trafficked, please contact specialist help. AVID can signpost you if helpful.
