Samphire is recruiting!

Samphire - the Dover based NGO supporting immigration detainees held in Dover, and those released - is recruiting a Detention Support Coordinator. 

The role is to provide emotional and practical support and casework assistance to immigration detainees held at the Dover Immigration Removal Centre.

The role is for a fixed term of one year (with the possibility of extension contingent on funding) and involves directly assisting detainees at Dover IRC, recruiting and supervising volunteers and initiating policy and awareness-raising work aimed at minimising the use of detention and improving conditions for those detained.
