AVID is looking for volunteer fundraisers!
AVID is fundraising with the Workers Beer Company, which allows charities like us to raise funds by staffing a bar at a festival over the summer. We’re looking to get a great team of people together to raise funds to support our work. If you or someone you know would be interested in taking part then please let us know!
HOW?
Volunteer to do a shift at a bar at a festival and £8 per volunteer hour goes directly to AVID
WHICH FESTIVALS?
- Liam Gallagher 29th June (Finsbury Park)
- Queens of the Stoneage 30th June (Finsbury Park)
- Finsbury Park Community Festival 1st July.
- Lovebox/Citadel 13/14/15th July.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To volunteer you need to be:
- over 18 years of age
- supporters of AVID
- friendly, cheerful, positive and motivated
- confident to work with the public in a festival setting
- able to function well in very a busy and sometimes noisy environment
- able to spend long periods of time on your feet!
Volunteers get free accommodation at a hostel in London if they need it, free meals during their shift and two free drinks at the end of the shift!
